Please, don’t make me shovel any more snow. I’m hoping Santa brings me a snowblower for christmas. Speaking of which, we borrowed our neighbor’s snowblower yesterday and promptly ran over the sunday newspaper with it. It took a hammer and chisel to dislodge it.

We got our tree this weekend, and thanks to our new tree stand (thank you ebay), it was almost a flawless mounting. Almost. It took about 3 seconds to lock the tree into place, but later when trying to make some adjustments, the tree started tipping and almost went crashing to the ground. So around once a year, I pull some muscle in my upper back that makes it painful to do pretty much everything, and the only thing I can do about it is to take some drugs, put some heat on it, and let it fix itself.
