just got back from our annual trip to the desert to visit the saxe’s. otherwise known as the pizza pilgrimage. this makes 4 years in a row, and it’s just a weekend of pure gluttony mixed in with some long, kneee-pounding, angry-guarddog chasing runs.
sometimes, when you need to kill an hour on a sunday morning, nothing’s better than a visit to four peaks for an oatmeal stout....

major project for last week: hardwiring my sirius radio in my car. rather than having it plugged into my cigarette lighter adapter and having cords running everywhere (not to mention having to turn the radio off by hand every time i turn the car off), i figured out how to hardwire the power directly to the fusebox. i also moved the antenna inside the car, so the outside of my car looks all...

after 7 years, i quit the gym last week. i’m going to build up our home gym and quit paying the monthly dues. and for the last 5 years, i’ve been using a broken lock. it doesn’t actually lock. it just opens and closes without having to turn the dial at all.
